Before you schedule
Is this the same as a “FEMTO unlock”?
People often use that phrase for newer BMW DME unlocking in general. The correct solution depends on the exact DME and software, so we verify yours before quoting or scheduling.
Does the unlock include a Stage 1 or Stage 2 tune?
No. The unlock enables compatible flashing; your tune and any required hardware are separate.
What about M cars with two DMEs?
Dual-DME applications require both units and are quoted separately after VIN verification.
Can a dealer software update remove the unlock?
A dealer programming update may overwrite or relock a modified DME. Contact us before allowing programming and again afterward if flashing access changes.
Can my local shop send the ECU?
Yes. We regularly support repair and performance shops through local courier/Uber delivery and nationwide shipping.
